Lessons Contracts and Prices
I have over 30 years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages and experience levels, from beginner to Doctoral. I have taught in Russia as well as in the United States.
Many of my students have continued their professional music education and have participated in national auditions and competitions in both Russia and the US. My goal for my students is to experience enjoyment and fearlessness on the stage.
I practice an individual approach to teaching which is key to achieving professional goals in studying a musical instrument. I select individual learning materials for each student and use my own methods, which I have developed during my professional teaching career, to develop and improve correct technique and to provide students with music that best challenges and suits them.
I believe that musical education, in the 21st century, is even more important now for cultural interaction and international communication and feel piano is one of the best ways to share this hope.
I teach both in-person and online. I have been pleasantly surprised that online teaching can also be effective.

Lesson Contracts and Prices
I recommend lessons twice or three times weekly for 30 minutes for my young beginner learners and 45 minutes to 60 minutes once or twice weekly for my adult beginner, or more advanced students. I can tailor these lessons to quickly achieve positive results with the emphasis on correct technique and musicality.
Of course I expect students to practice before their lessons for not less than 15 minutes every day!
Signing a month, four month or eight month contract keeps the cost down, ensures a reserved time on the schedule, and develops discipline and engagement. I am also available for lessons on a pay as you go basis, but this may be more expensive and I cannot always guarantee a set time each week.
The discounts are given based on the contract terms – the longer the term the cheaper the hourly rate. I also give a 10% discount for any one referral who signs for at least a semester (16 hours or 16 lessons of 45 minutes ).
One time payment:
1 hour – $65
45 min – $60
30 min – $55
Month in advance payment (four lessons):
1 hour – $60

One semester (four months – 16 lessons) in advance payment:
1 hour – $55

Two semesters (eight months – 32 lessons) in advance payment:
