
Piano Duet “Troika”: Vladislava Henderson and Ludmila Syabrenko.
Their piano duet formed on the Kamchatka Peninsula, in the Far East of Russia. In Russia they played concert series’ as soloists of the Kamchatka State Philharmonic. In 1998 V. Henderson moved to the USA, and L. Syabrenko remained in Russia. In the 2011-2012 concert season they celebrated the piano duet reunion with a new program -”Black, White and Red Classica” along with multiple concerts in Wisconsin, USA. For the 2012-2013 concert season Vladislava and Ludmila performed as Piano Duet “Troika” and presented the programs “Piano Theatre”, “Famous and Favorite”, and “Maestro Jazz”. During the 2013-2014 Season Piano Duet “Troika” performs with their three new programs: “All year with Rachmaninov”, “Piano Ball”, and “From Baroque to Avant-garde”. In the future, Piano Duet “Troika” would like to prepare and perform a series of programs “From Baroque to Avant-garde”, where each period will be presented with multiple programs.
The 2014-2015 concert season began with a Russian tour. “Troika” performed in three major cities of southern Russia – in the Grand Hall of the Krasnodar Music college of Rimsky-Korsakov (the capitol of Krasnodar krai), in the Chamber Concert Hall of the Rostov-on-Don Music Conservatory of Rachmaninov (the capitol of the South region of Russia) and in the Winter Olympic city, – Sochi, in the Grand Hall of the Sochi College of Arts. “he impeccable sense of style…subtle nuances and phrasing…captivating storyline…a brilliant virtuosity…” – is how Krasnodar music critic Zinaida Chernyak describes their performance in an article. The audience favorites were the programs “Famous and Favorite ”, “Maestro Jazz ” and “From Baroque to Avant-garde ”. For the 2015-2016 concert season Piano Duet “Troika” is scheduled in Europe – Prague, Lausanne, Brussels, and in the European part of Russia – Moscow, S. Petersburg and Saratov.

Vladislava Henderson (piano) is described by scholars and critics as “…an interesting musician with a wide repertoire and distinct style”, “…an original brilliant musician”, “…fearless in performing new music styles to the audience”.
Vladislava was born to a family of professional musicians in Krasnodar, South Russia – the capital of the Black Sea region. Vladislava is a graduate of Saratov State Music Conservatory which is named after L.V. Sobinov. There she earned her Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. In Russia she worked as a piano instructor and faculty head, recorded on State TV and Radio, participated in the international festival “Kamchatskaya musikal’naya Vesna” (“Musical Spring in Kamchatka”) and other concert series through the Kamchatka Philharmonic (Far East of Russia). Vladislava has over 20 years of teaching experience and has her private studio for lessons and Master’s classes geared towards professional piano technique and performance preparation for all age levels.

Ludmila Nickolaevna Syabrenko (piano) is a graduate of Saratov State Music Conservatory which is named after L.V. Sobinov, where she has earned a Master Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. She performed and taught in USSR and in Russia for over 30 years. During these years Ms. Syabrenko has organized and was a director of chamber performing group “Renaissance”. In the same time she was hired as a soloist by the Kamchatka Philharmonic (Far East of Russia). Ms. Syabrenko participated multiple times in International Music Festivals. She has TV and Radio appearances and recordings. In 1998 Ms. Syabrenko moved to Krasnodar (the capital of the Black Sea region), where she performed as a soloist in Concert Organization “Premier”. Many of her students have won prizes at Piano competitions nationwide, continued their professional music careers, and now work as teachers brining up new a musical generation. Presently, her performing plans are to explore more, and play piano ensemble repertoires.
